Zinnias

After seeing this stamp on Flourishes, I just had to have it (happens to me a lot-LOL).  I thought it would be so fun to color (and it was) and would make cute note cards.  I think it will work great!  And you can color them in pretty much any color.

Make Mine A Double

I met a great old friend for dinner the other night and we were talking about how much we love ice cream.  You know...sit down in the evening and watch your favorite show with a dish of ice cream!!  And how we know we shouldn't but love it!  So I felt the need to confess that on the way home that night I stopped at the store and bought some cookie dough ice cream (my fav)!!  I thought this little cutie would be a perfect way to confess!!  I love these Pure Innocence images from My Favorite Things!

Congrats!

Debbie Olson from Thinking Inking is one of my favorite card makers.  I love everything she creates.  She is really an inspiration.  This is Papertrey Ink's 5th anniversary and Debbie is on their design team.  They were asked to share there favorite projects.  I got my inspiration for this card from a design that she chose as one of her runner ups.

Happy Elephant

Isn't this elephant from Karen's Doodles look like she's having fun?  Our hairdresser loves elephants and recently had a bad accident that put out of commission for a while.  But we are happy she's back and feeling better.  I hope this cheers her up.  Have a great weekend!

What happened to spring??  You know the temps in the high 60s, low 70s!!  Not 90 and humid!!  This image looks like me when it gets this hot.  Just hug the fan!!!  This kind of heat and I do not do well together.  For those that deal with this heat for weeks and months straight, I don't know how you do it!!  Hope all of you are staying cool!!  Tomorrow is supposed to be cooler.

Thinking of You

I just got this great new stamp set from Heartfelt Creations.  One of the designers, Linda Payne stamped the image with white ink on black.  Very dramatic.  So I thought I'd try it with my favorite PTI color Raspberry Fizz.  I really like how it turned out.  Hope you agree!

I took a couple of close ups. Here is the flower. I stamped all three sizes on Raspberry Fizz with ColorBox's Frost White ink and embossed with with Ranger's Super Fine Detail Clear powder.  I cut them out and popped them a bit with some pop dots to give them more dimension.
The other close up is the butterfly, also from Heartfelt Creations. I fell in love with this company last summer at the Mega Meet Scrapbook Convention.  They will be there again this year and I can't wait. I stamped the butterfly with Raspberry Fizz ink and embossed it again with the Ranger Super Fine Detail Clear powder.  I thought it needed a little bling, so I used my Quickie Glue pen and added some Prisma Glitter Ultra Fine on the wings and added some pearls.

Purrr-fectly Delightful!

I have loved the cat in the Chore Chart Lite cart since I first saw it. I tried to talk myself out of it because I didn't think I would use it that much. Well....this weekend I just decided to go for it. I was pleasantly surprised that there are a few other images on this cart that I cant see me using. I think he turned out cute. And this was also my first attempt at a "grunge" flower. Thanks for taking a look!!

Totally Scraplifted!!

I can't take credit for this design. It was completely scraplifted!! It comes from Mrs B's craft room. She has a great video tutorial using the Gypsy. I thought it was so cute, I made two of them. My husband's aunt was under the weather and another one for someone that is recovering from surgery. I love the Peachy Keen faces!! Hope you are enjoying your day!

Feel the sand in your toes!!

So I started making this card for the CFS (Cards for Soldiers) and I think I got a little carried away. Is it too much to crochet a little throw for the chair?? LOL!! Maybe I'm just wishing for some time at the beach!

I ran across the BBTB2 challenge last night and their sponsor is Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. So I took a look and OMG!! They have the cutest things. I fell in love with this little popcorn guy. Isn't he adorable! And the sentiments were way cute too. I love these digital stamps (no storage!!). Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
